TaroTaper is designed with privacy first. We do NOT collect, store, or process:

• Personal Information: No name, email, phone number, or contact details
• Reading History: Your Tarot card selections and readings are never stored
• AI Interpretations: Generated in real-time and never saved
• Location Data: We don't track where you are
• Device Information: No device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage Data: We don't track how you use the app
• Cookies or Tracking: No cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies

Information We Do Collect

The only information we process is:

Subscription Status

What: Your App Store subscription status (active/inactive)

Why: To provide Premium features to subscribers

How: Handled automatically by Apple's StoreKit framework

Storage: Stored locally on your device and verified with Apple's servers

Control: Managed through your Apple ID settings

How the App Works

Free Features

When you use free features (card selection, viewing spreads):

• All processing happens locally on your device
• No data leaves your device
• No internet connection required
• Nothing is stored between sessions

Premium Features (AI Interpretations)

When you request an AI interpretation:

• We send only your three card names to our AI service
• No personal information is included
• The interpretation is generated and sent back immediately
• Nothing is logged or stored on our servers
• The interpretation is displayed to you and then discarded

Example: If you select "The Moon," "The Star," and "The Sun," we only send these three card names to generate your interpretation. We don't know who requested it or when.

Subscription Management

App Store subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple:

• Payment information goes directly to Apple
• We never see your credit card or payment details
• Apple notifies us if you have an active subscription
• We verify subscription status with Apple when you use Premium features

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store

When you download TaroTaper or subscribe to Premium:

• Apple's Privacy Policy applies

AI Service Provider

For Premium AI interpretations, we use a third-party AI service:

• We send only card names (e.g., "The Fool," "The Magician")
• No personal information is included in requests
• Responses are not logged or stored
• The service cannot identify you

Data Storage

On Your Device:

• Your subscription status (active/inactive)
• App preferences (e.g., language selection)

On Our Servers:

• Nothing. We maintain no databases of user information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone. There is no information to share.

The only data transmission that occurs:

• To Apple: Subscription verification requests
• To AI Service: Card names only (for Premium interpretations)

Children's Privacy

TaroTaper is rated 12+ due to occult/spiritual themes. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Our privacy-first design means we don't collect data from users of any age.

International Users

TaroTaper is available worldwide. Since we don't collect personal data, international data transfer regulations (like GDPR) are not applicable. The minimal data we process (subscription status) is handled by Apple according to their policies.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store your personal data, there is:

• No data to correct or update
• No data to delete

Your subscription information is managed through your Apple ID settings.

While we don't store your data, we protect the minimal processing we do:

• We'll notify you through the App if changes are significant

California residents have specific rights under CCPA. However, since TaroTaper doesn't collect personal information, these rights don't apply. We:

• Don't sell personal information (because we don't collect it)
