Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the TaroTaper mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

TaroTaper is a mobile application that provides:

  • Digital Tarot card readings using a three-card spread format
  • AI-powered interpretations of Tarot card combinations (Premium feature)
  • Spiritual guidance and personal reflection tools
  • Multi-language support

Nature of Tarot Readings

Important Disclaimer: TaroTaper provides Tarot readings for entertainment, spiritual reflection, and personal growth purposes only. Our service is NOT:

  • Professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or psychological)
  • A substitute for professional consultation
  • Scientifically proven or guaranteed to be accurate
  • Intended to predict specific future events with certainty

Tarot is a tool for introspection and should be used as such. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions.

User Requirements

To use TaroTaper, you must:

  • Be at least 12 years old (app rating: 12+)
  • Have a compatible iOS device (iOS 15.0 or later)
  • Have an Apple ID to download from the App Store
  • For Premium features: Have an active subscription

If you are under 18, you should use this App with parental guidance.

Free Features

Available to all users at no cost:

  • Unlimited card selections
  • View three-card spreads
  • Access to card imagery
  • Manual interpretation guides

Premium Features

Available through paid subscription:

  • Unlimited AI-powered interpretations
  • Personalized spiritual guidance
  • Deep card combination analysis
  • Priority customer support

Subscription Terms

Pricing

Premium subscription is available for $6.99 USD per month (price may vary by region and currency). Pricing is subject to change with notice.

Payment

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store
  • We do not have access to your payment information

Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • The renewal cost will be the same as your initial subscription price unless we notify you otherwise

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time:

  1. Open iPhone Settings
  2. Tap your name
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select "TaroTaper"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for Premium features. Terms will be clearly stated at the time of offer. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for a full subscription period.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. To request a refund:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Find your TaroTaper purchase
  • Follow the prompts to request a refund

We cannot process refunds directly.

User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
  • Share or distribute your subscription access
  • Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Circumvent any technical limitations or security features
  • Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our service

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content in TaroTaper is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws:

  • Tarot card images and artwork
  • AI-generated interpretations
  • App design, interface, and code
  • Text, graphics, logos, and other materials

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TaroTaper for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

AI-Generated Content

Premium AI interpretations are generated using artificial intelligence:

  • Content is created in real-time based on your card selection
  • Each interpretation is unique and non-reproducible
  • AI content should be viewed as guidance, not absolute truth
  • We do not guarantee accuracy or applicability to your situation
  • AI may occasionally produce unexpected or inconsistent responses

Privacy and Data

Your use of TaroTaper is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • We do not collect or store your personal information
  • Your readings are never saved
  • Only subscription status is tracked (by Apple)
  • No advertising or tracking technologies are used

Disclaimer of Warranties

TaroTaper is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind:

  • We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of interpretations
  • We make no guarantees about spiritual, personal, or other outcomes
  • Use of the App is at your own risk

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of TaroTaper
  • This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on Tarot readings
  • Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any)

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of TaroTaper
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of others

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store

Your use of TaroTaper through the Apple App Store is subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions:

  • Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support
  • Apple is not liable for any claims related to the App
  • In case of any third-party intellectual property infringement claim, Apple is not responsible

AI Service Provider

Premium interpretations use third-party AI services. While we strive for quality:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate
  • We are not responsible for AI service interruptions
  • AI provider terms may apply to generated content

Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your access to TaroTaper at any time
  • Discontinue the App or any features with or without notice
  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason

You may stop using TaroTaper at any time. Deleting the App terminates your use.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time:

  • Changes will be effective immediately upon posting
  • Significant changes will be communicated through the App
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
  • The "Last Updated" date will reflect any changes

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TaroTaper regarding use of the App.
